Aus UFO is the Official Web site dedicated to the preservation of the life's works of Colin Norris, UFOlogist, ecologist, humanitarian.

Colin is renown world wide for his investigations into the UFO phenomenom for over 50 years, and his work with the
Australian International UFO Flying Saucer Research Inc.   (Reg: 1978 )

Colin's approach was to 'Investigate, Correlate, Tabulate and Disseminate', just present the facts and let each of us draw our own conclusions.
Of course, Colin had his own ideas and convictions on the subject which were often ridiculed, especially in the early days, but over time they gained acceptance.

History.

In 1942, Colin Norris had a UFO sighting whilst serving with the Royal Australian Air Force in Western Australia during the Second World War.

This sighting was to have a profound impact on Colin; such, that he would dedicate much of his life to the investigation of this fascinating phenomenon.

Colin Norris, the founder of "Australian International UFO Flying Saucer Research Inc.", (AIUFOFSR), now in his eighties, has retired from active investigation of these phenomena, but is still recording sightings as they come to hand.

Colin's work is recognised and respected world wide, not only by his peers but also many relevant Government bodies with an interest in the phenomena. The primary reason for this recognition of Colin's work, is due to his untainted approach to the subject, by not applying or attributing any form of religious, cult or political slant to the subject. Basically, record the facts as they are given.

It is the desire of Colin Norris that ultimately, his Life's Work be presented to one of the libraries in South Australia for historical and future research reference.

With more than 50 years of UFO research behind him, Colin, over the past 30 years approximately, has prepared and published a quarterly magazine, (ISSN 0156 742X, - last issue was 113 in November 2006)

What We Do.

Colin Norris, the founder of "Australian International UFO Flying Saucer Research Inc.", (AIUFOFSR), even in his eighties, although he had retired from active investigation of these phenomena, he was still recording sightings as they came to hand.

Unfortunately, Colin passed away in July 2009, leaving behind his life's work, a comprehensive study of UFO's.

'Aus UFO info' was commissioned to work with the "Australian International UFO Flying Saucer Research Inc." to record and correlate electronically, more than 50 years of UFO research.

Our aim is to take Colin's collection consisting of thousands of official reports, printed articles from all over the world, hundreds of hours of film, tape and various other media that has been used, and convert it to electronic media.

Once converted, it will be made available to the public that information which is NOT Confidential, or classified as secure, or secret, or restricted or marked "Not For Publication".

As one can imagine this is a mammoth task, and we are seeking financial assistance from the general public to help offset the cost of this work, by offering an annual subscription/membership to supporters of the on-going project.

You can contribute to this marvellous project to preserve 50 years of investigation into one of the worlds most fascinating and yet, unexplained, phenomena.
